Have something you would like to thread out, but there isn't a post or log to do it in? Look no further!
Please indicate the date and type of thread (action/written/voice).

I can't even imagine what that all does right now, so I'm looking forward to seeing it. It looks kind of complex...
[A beat.] Anyway, do you know how to get the simulation working...? I haven't come here myself until now, so I have no clue how it all works.
December 28th, action
But it's cold as balls out here, so he's heading for the door and motioning for Jude to follow him inside.] Come on.
December 28th, action
[And he'll be sure to watch and learn for himself, too... But yes, in he goes, following along Jean!]
December 28th, action
Hope you don't mind [and if you do, that's too bad], but I'm gonna show you what I can do with my gear first. It's kind of a pain to take off and get back on.
[...But that just means he'll have to do all that later anyway. Whatever. Let's see...first he has to press this, and then...]
December 28th, action
That's fine. Like I said, I'm excited to see how it works and what it does. So the sooner the better.
December 28th, action
[Come, follow him into the room. He'll throw Jude a look over his shoulder as they pass through the door.]
Maybe later you can show me what your healing magic can do. [Because he feels a little weird about showing off his own skills like it's some form of entertainment, so it's only fair to make Jude show what he's got too.] If you think you can manage to land a few decent blows on me, that is.
[Once the door latches shut behind them, it will look like they've stepped outside, but without the snow and the harsh cold. A nice reminder of what green grass looks like. To one side, as if cut from a larger town and pasted here, a cluster of nondescript buildings stretches into the distance; to the other side, a circle of softly packed dirt has been cut into the center of the grassy plain, something of a fighting ring.]
December 28th, action
I can do that. I'm sure I'll be able to do at least some damage, anyway... I don't want to think that being here ruined all my training that much. [Besides, there's always healing himself as well, assuming it'd really be necessary...
For now though, he glances around at their new surroundings. This technology... geez. He can't help but stare in awe at it all, baffled as to how it even works. Then again, he doesn't understand TVs or microwaves either, so hey...]
So why did you choose this kind of setting in particular?
December 28th, action
The gear - 3D maneuver gear, it's called - is most effective away from flat terrain. Buildings, trees...you can use these to your advantage, to build up altitude and speed.
[He stops at the edge of the "town".]
December 28th, action
Really? I honestly can't imagine how, but... I guess that's what watching and learning first is for, right?
[Though as he examines the contraption hanging around Jean's hips, he's starting to get some sort of idea of what he could expect. Or at least guesses, anyway.]
December 28th, action
[He reaches into his jacket to take the operating grips out of their holsters, and he'll slam the flat ends against the bases of the blades in his sheathes to draw his weapons out.]
I didn't put any enemies in here, but if I had, I'd be slicing them up with these. [Very blade. Such sharp. Wow.
He'll get into a ready position - knees slightly bent, weight rocking back - before firing off his lines, aiming for the eaves of one of the nearby buildings. The gas propels him forward through the air, the iron cables upward, until he lands atop the roof with a finishing flip.
Yeah, he's pretty much the shit.]
December 28th, action
[Paying attention he shall do! But oh, he sees... They're swords! With... detachable bases? It seems like a good idea in theory to have backups, but considering how much extra weight they would put on a person, Jude has to wonder where the practicality is behind it...
--wait. Wait. What! Excuse him! Jude was starting to get the possible idea of firing off lines like that but... propelling Jean into the air like that! Holy crap.
Jude just watches in total amazement and shock as is partner lands on the roof of the building.]
W-whoa! Are you serious?! [Yeah he can't even hold back his awe right now. THAT'S SO COOL...]
December 28th, action
highly sensitive, sometimes flaccidego. And you can't do a thing about how gay that sounded because this is just meta bracket text.Jean pauses to throw a cocky grin back down to Jude, but he's not done yet.]
Do I look like I'm joking?
December 28th, action
I mean.
He's still looking up at Jean, eyes wide and all. The kiddo in him can't help but grin a bit in excitement too, actually.]
Well, no, but... That's amazing!
[He's already trying to figure out how it works, too... He saw gas come out, so... maybe that pushes him off? And then the wires pull him? But that whole contraption looks so heavy... Wouldn't that hold him back? Aaaahh this is so neat.]
December 28th, action
Wait, what.
He just shrugs.]
Every soldier in my world is trained to do this. [But some are better than others - while he's still new at the soldier game, he does have a fair amount of talent in the field. It's many of the Military Police soldiers who, cowering behind the walls, have let their skills rust.]
I'm just getting warmed up.
[He doesn't really give Jude a chance to respond before he's running along the length of the roof and launching himself off again, seeming to fly through the air as the cables pull him toward the next building. Instead of landing, he pushes off the steepled eaves to change direction, slinging across the street with a flip. His movements are fast, sharp, and tight. Then he'll fly back across the rooftops, overshooting himself so that when he retracts the cables, he lands near where Jude is standing, back and legs bent in a squat to absorb the impact. Straightening up, he slides the blades back into their compartments.]
